Zane Okoro Signs New Lincoln Deal Then Joins Tranmere Rovers on Season-Long Loan

It has been a huge week for Forum Sports client Zane Okoro. The 19-year-old winger has put pen to paper on a new contract with Championship club Lincoln City that runs until the summer of 2029, before immediately being confirmed as a Tranmere Rovers loanee for the 2026/27 campaign.

The new Lincoln deal is a strong statement of intent from the Imps, who see Zane as a long-term first-team asset following a season-long loan spell in Northern Ireland with Coleraine, where he made 40 appearances and helped the Bannsiders lift the Irish Cup and finish as runners-up in the NIFL Premiership.

The loan move takes Zane to Prenton Park, where he will spend the coming League Two season under head coach Darrell Clarke. Tranmere finished 21st in the 2025/26 campaign and have overhauled their attacking options this summer, with Zane arriving as one of the standout additions after his impressive spell at Coleraine.

The winger, who is known for his pace, directness and end product, now steps into senior EFL football on a full-time basis for the first time as Tranmere look to push back up the League Two table under Clarke.
