Sunderland AFC and Forum Sports client Charlie Dinsdale are through to the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals after a convincing win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
A strong team performance saw Sunderland secure their place in the last eight, with Charlie continuing his positive run of form across the club’s youth sides. The midfielder has also been in excellent form for Sunderland’s U21s, helping drive an uplift in results with the side unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions.
The win on Tuesday night sets up a huge quarter-final tie against Manchester United — a real measure of where this Sunderland youth side is, and a big stage for Charlie to continue his development against one of the country’s most decorated academies.
