As the 2025 Besta deild karla season kicks off, we wish Arnar Breki Gunnarsson and Tómas Bent Magnússon the best of luck in their opening matches with ÍBV and Valur.
Arnar Breki continues his journey with ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar, looking to build on his previous performances and contribute significantly to the team this season. Arnar has also been recognised at international level, receiving call-ups to the Iceland U21 squad.
Tómas Bent joined Valur Reykjavík in February 2025, bringing valuable experience from his time with ÍBV. With a contract through to 2027, he’s set to make an impact in midfield for the team. Tómas, too, has been involved with the Iceland U21 squad, highlighting his potential on the national stage.
