Tómas began his career at ÍBV, making his professional debut at just 16 years old. His performances there earned him a move to Valur, where he’s played a pivotal role in the team’s most recent success. In 2025, he made his European debut, scoring two goals in three matches during the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
Tómas now joins Hearts on a three-year deal. Head Coach Derek McInnes expressed his enthusiasm about the signing, highlighting Tómas’s dynamic playing style and versatility in midfield. Tómas made an immediate impact, making his debut in a match against Aberdeen, where he described the atmosphere as “crazy” and expressed his excitement for the future.
We look forward to supporting Tómas as he embarks on this new chapter with Hearts, contributing to the team’s aspirations in the Scottish Premiership.
