Isaac Gordon returned to the pitch for Derby County’s Under-21 side on Tuesday as the Rams drew 4-4 with West Bromwich Albion in a high-scoring Premier League 2 fixture.
Gordon, who has been working his way back to fitness, featured in the contest as Derby twice found themselves behind before ultimately sharing the points in a game that produced eight goals.
The winger’s return is a boost for Derby’s Under-21 setup, and the experience of playing in a closely contested fixture will be valuable as he continues to build his fitness and match sharpness in PL2.
