Matthew Shevlin has sent Coleraine into the Irish Cup Final.
Back from injury and introduced from the bench in the second half alongside fellow Forum Sports client Zane Okoro, the pair made a big impact as the semi-final tie against Larne went into extra time. Shevlin scored the decisive goal in the 112th minute to seal a huge win at Windsor Park and book Coleraine’s place at the national stadium for the showpiece final.
For Shevlin — a serial Windsor Park scorer over the course of his Coleraine career — it was a fitting setting in which to deliver another defining moment. The Bannsiders will now go to the final knowing they have one of the NIFL’s most reliable big-game players leading the line.
